Come and enjoy our Health Retreats and Yoga classes. This package includes freshly made daily brunches and delicious healthy dinners. We aim to introduce a balanced diet making our meals not only tasty, but mainly nutritional, only using fresh ingredients. With Heiko‘s finest culinary tips, you will enjoy a delicious and healthy menu. Our recipes are made from local seasonal products, with a variety of ingredients. The menu is ideal for active people with regular balanced protein and carbohydrate levels. The soups are exclusive recipes, using fresh herbs, and all foods are cooked in healthy oils. Our menus are mainly vegetarian, but once a week you will have an option to local fresh fish during dinner time, for those of you who are not vegans or vegetarians. We avoid food colorings and preservatives. We only select whole meal products.
Our daily program is designed to help you relax as much as possible with Yoga classes and included regenerative activities. You’re free to do as much or as little as you like from our daily health program.
- HEALTH COOKING COURSE : Explore and have fun using easy and tasty recipes with excellent tips for keeping up a healthy cooking style in your home kitchen. You’ll learn how to create delicious meals using nourishing oils, grains, whole meal flours, fresh fruits and vegetables and lean proteins. Focusing on making a healthy choice of local products, we can cook meals that you, your family and friends will absolutely love. It’s a priceless experience, preparing meals all together, having fun and enjoying dinner time in the evening. Our experienced chef is delighted to welcome you.
- YOGA CLASSES : During the yoga classes, you will work on pranayama (breath control), asana (poses), and meditation. You will discover how your breath can ease not only your mind, but help you deepen into your practice as well. Together with the group, you will discover which different poses work best for you. The classes use postures that make you stretch your body together with simple breathing techniques, to develop flexibility and relaxation, encourage the proper alignment of the body and bring balance, strength, and calmness to the practitioner. We will also focus on yoga Nidra to release stress and tension by reaching a state of conscious deep sleep.
- STAND UP PADDLE : Fuerteventura will offer you the best opportunity to enjoy many types of water sports activities, such as SUP for example, known as Stand Up Paddle. It is an excellent sport to be practicing, there is no better fitness workout. It requires a good sense of balance and constant paddling in contact with the ocean; a perfect muscle interaction for your body. Lessons take place in small groups with individual attention by certified instructors and all equipment is provided. During the warm up session we cover both theory and practice on the sanded area, to then move closer to shore and adventure the sea. We can organize either, SUP or Surf Lessons, as you prefer.
- WORKSHOP : Mala necklace or Jivamukti yoga workshop are inspiring and fascinating courses. What you will learn and experience here will stay with you for the rest of your life. This course encourages personal growth and pushes you to get to know yourself better. You will also learn all about the background of a Mala, a Hindu or Buddhist prayer beads, as well as their use for meditation. Once that all participants are finished creating their own necklace, we will meditate with the self-created Malas. Connect with your creativity and the power of thoughts and intentions!
- CRATER WALKING : There are plenty of opportunities to walk reasonable distances along deserted beaches and coastlines, so peaceful, with hardly anybody else around. Our house is just next to one of the most beautiful Volcanic Crater, called Calderon Hondo and from the top platform there are really some amazing views for miles on end, it nearly shows as far as Corralejo’s sand dunes. We will have a picnic on the Crater during the sight viewing, we can also reach the peak of the mountain and watch the breathtaking sunset or even take a walk at night time with the stars and the moonlight being the only lights you’ll see.
- COASTLINE WALKING : Breathe in the Atlantic’s refreshing and regenerative salty sea air and discover the most unique landscapes in Fuerteventura. The island is just like, a little magical paradise for many. Come and discover its unique flora and fauna, intriguing shapes of sand and rocks and experience a complete sense of peacefulness from its nature. Fuerteventura is home of those starred night time skies and simply breath taking horizons. It’s the best!
- BIKE TOURS : A bike tour is probably one of the best ways to discover the surrounding countryside area and reach as far as the next turquoise lagoon beach in El Cotillo, this adventure also leads us to visit the Lighthouse. During the itinerary we can take a little break and stop off for an ice cream or a refreshing drink.
- MASSAGES : For those of you who are looking to unwind themselves from tension, we offer different types of aromatic and/or relaxing massages that will give you that intense feeling of peace and wellbeing.
